Week-long Introductory Summer Course:
Introduction to Jungian Sandplay
July 13th through July 18th, 2015; 3 credits
Course Instructor: Betty Jackson, LSW, Certified Teaching Member of STA/ISST
Learn about the theory and practice of Jungian Sandplay through actively participating in experiential group and collaborative Sandplay sessions! The history and development, tools, practice, and process of Jungian Sandplay therapy will be explored through lecture, discussion, case studies, art making, and hands on experiences in sandplay. Students will have the opportunity to create miniature figures for use in sandplay therapy, as well as learn how to photograph and record group sandtrays. Students will also have the opportunity to design and facilitate an in-class collaborative Sandplay exercise.
Students from other graduate programs welcomed!
The class runs Monday July 13th to Friday July 17th from 9am-5:30pm, with 3.5 hour component on Saturday July 18th
